CGA uses the dues collected to fund the following activities
Hosting speakers knowledgeable in education for the gifted
Maintaining the Association website
Acquiring parent resources
Maintaining membership in the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented (TAGT) and the National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC)
Funding the registration fee for representatives to attend the TAGT annual professional development conference to gain additional information for dissemination to our members
Providing scholarships for identified gifted students to attend summer programs
A yearly CGA financial statement will be made available to members
